Top 5 At Fashionista

Hi everyone, just popping by to say that I have made the top 5 at Fashionista Challenges, I'd love it if you could pop by and vote for me, HERE.

I've had a week away, as you may know, and on the Monday that I was away I had an amazing e-mail, stay tuned and all will be revealed. Also, when I was away I felt like a minor celebrity, the lovely Angie from Little Darlings was on Create and Craft and my creations were there, felt a tad surreal seeing what I had made on the TV, lol. I was telling other people on the course I was on, but I don't think they got just how excited I was.

Better dash, I'm away on holiday next week and I have all of my DT stuff to be made, photographed and scheduled, and I don't do organised.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Background Stamp At Tilda's Town

Hi everyone, hope you have had a nice week? I'm here with my DT card for Tilda's Town, this week we want to see your cards with a background stamp, I need to make a card for someone who is getting their first house, and this image I think is perfect (it's not the first time I've used it for this purpose).

I've coloured Root Cellar with distress markers, and added stickles to the flowers for sparkle.

I've eventually got round to using my Whimsey Alphabet Stamp set.

There are links to all of the products that I've used at the end of the post.

The rolled roses are by Kort og Godt, the roses and carnations are from WOC.

Midway Reminder for CLP Challenge #58

Hi everyone, here's my midway reminder for CLP Challenge #58. Yet another gorgeous sketch from Chelsea.

I must admit, when I first saw this Tilda in the club kit I though 'hmmm', but after seeing her coloured up a few times I had to ink her up too. I've coloured her with distress markers, and added a touch of glamour dust too. There is some Aged Aqua frantage around there too.

Here's Chelsea's fab sketch.

I've also frantaged a metal rose and some pearl string too. The papers are from the 6x6 Vintage Summer Basics from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed with walnut stain.

There are links at the end of the post to the products that I've used.

A close up of my flowers.

Happy Birthday at Midweek Magnolias

Hi everyone, I'm here today (well I am if Mr Blogger is playing nice, as this post has been scheduled as I('m away on a training course this week) with my card for the Happy Birthday challenge at Midweek Magnolias.

I've used some of the new Pion papers, both 12x12 and the 6x6. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn.

I've coloured Tilda with Corkscrews with distress markers, I've added loads of Glamour Dust to her crown for sparkle. Around the edges I've used Aged Rose frantage.

Sandy at LLC has just got these extra cute metal roses in, as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to frantage them, I've used Shabby Pink on them, and they really do have to be seen to be believed just how pretty they are.

Here's a not very focused close up (sorry), they truly are stunning IRL.

An arty shot showing the gorgeous flowers.

Hope you're having a lovely week, I bet it's being more exciting than mine, lol.

I'm entering this into 'Pink Princess' at Totally Tilda.

Hugs,

Becky xx

A Creative Romance

Hi everyone, Monday again. I've scheduled this post as I'm away for a full week on a training course, I'm learning how to use one of the new analysers for the laboratory, and yes it takes a week and even then I'll not know everything. I know I'll miss my kids terribly, thank goodness for Facetime, but, a week away with no cooking, cleaning, sorting arguments, washing etc, etc adds a little shine to it.

I thought I would pop by and remind you of the new challenge starting A Creative Romance, please pop over and add your name to the linky (if you havn't already) as we have some amazing candy up for grabs, become a follower and pop our badge in your sidebar.

I hope Mr. Blogger plays nice and posts all of the posts that I have scheduled.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Anything But A Card At Lili's Little Fairies

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my creation for Lili's Little Fairies, our theme this week is 'Anything But A Card'. My blood used to run cold when I saw that theme, but I have recently treat myself to a Silhouette Cameo, and I am in love, lol. I can't believe I didn't get me one of these sooner, I've used it to cut out this little sweet box, which is now on my daughter's bed side table.

Without Words Challenges have a theme of May Flowers, so I thought I'd try another CAS style creation and enter this challenge. It was hard to walk away from my craft room, lol.

I've coloured Tea Time in with distress markers and added glamour dust for sparkle.

The papers are from Maja Design, I traced round the lid onto the DP, cut it out and then distressed the edges.

Lastly, I added a English Lavender Shabby Seam Binding so the box can be closed. I forgot to photo inside the box, but there are 4 little compartments.

Hugs,

Becky xx
